Do you take custom orders?
Unfortunately, my custom orders are currently closed.
How do I purchase your work?
Beadwork is sold through my website. I try to have a beadwork sale every 6-8 weeks. Previews of sale items and sale notifications are always posted to Instagram. The best way to keep up to date with the beadwork and sales I offer is by following my Instagram account: shawnas_beadbox. You may also want to subscribe to my email list to ensure that you are notified of any upcoming beadwork sales. You can do so here.
Can non-Indigenous people wear your beadwork?
Yes! Absolutely. It is so important to support Indigenous artists and Indigenous communities. If for any reason the beadwork I create is not
appropriate for non-Indigenous people to purchase and wear, I will clearly indicate this. Otherwise, I encourage everyone to wear and enjoy my work
and hope that in doing so, this beadwork will create space for conversation and connections.

Shipping
Turnaround Time
Ready-made items will ship in 1-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
Where do orders ship from?
Orders are shipped directly from so-called Winnipeg, Manitoba in Treaty 1 territory, Canada.
Do you ship internationally?
I currently only ship to Canada and the US.
What shipping methods are used?
Canada – shipping is via Canada Post using your choice of tracked or untracked mail.
USA – shipping is via Canada Post/US Postal Service
How long do orders take to ship?
Standard shipping times are estimates – no shipping times are guaranteed.
Canada (untracked) – 5-14 business days
Canada (tracked) – 2-7 business days
USA (tracked) – 5-10 business days
What about Customs & Import Taxes?
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Shawna’s Beadbox is not responsible for any delays due to customs.
Is free shipping offered?
Yes, free (untracked) shipping is available in Canada ONLY.
Are you able to combine orders?
Yes! Please send me a message ASAP through the CONTACT page once you place your order to request that multiple orders are combined.
Can I change the shipping address on an order?
Yes! If the order has not been dispatched, send me a message ASAP through the CONTACT page with the subject line CHANGE ADDRESS ON ORDER and please include your ORDER NUMBER in your message. I will reply to let you know if an address change is still possible.
What happens if my package gets lost in the mail?
**Items sent without tracking are not insured if lost or stolen. Please upgrade your shipping method to tracked shipping if you would like tracking. Once the package is dropped off at the post office, it is no longer my responsibility.
If your package is lost or arrives damaged, you should make a claim with Canada Post or USPS. If the package is returned to me, I will contact you to make arrangements to re-ship it.
Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Can I cancel my order?
Orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. If you need to cancel an order, please send a message through the CONTACT page with the subject line CANCEL ORDER – your order number must be included. I will reply and let you know if a cancellation is still possible. If a cancellation is possible, I will immediately release funds. It make take
between 5-7 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
